Low Cost Recruitment Software for the NFP sector

In the past 3 years of running our Direct Sourcing Strategies workshop we have met almost 1,000 recruiters from Not for Profit organisations.

Those from larger charities and not for profits organisations tend to have enterprise class recruitment software to help them manage and report on the large number of hires they make. But in our experience, organisations in this sector with 100-1,000 staff typically manage their recruitment in Excel and/or Outlook and have applicants email them Word or PDF application forms.

Sound familiar?

Recreating these forms online so that applicants can submit their details immediately is a great first step (and one we can help you to achieve quite easily), but it still leaves you with an unwieldy spreadsheet or database, and the more positions you are recruiting for, the more difficult it becomes to process your applications.

So how do you improve the situation without expensive recruitment software?

We have a solution. Having recently updated our low cost applicant tracking software so that it can support the online application forms our clients use, applicants are now logged against jobs, can be shortlisted and sent to line managers to review, sent automatic confirmation emails and much, much more.

This also means we can support anonymised application forms, and report on the diversity of your applications and how they are managed throughout the process, every interaction is tracked to give your team a full audit trail.

Normally, this would only be available in more expensive enterprise level recruitment software. But our low cost applicant tracking system is available for just £211 per month (when calculated over 3 years for a 3 user system). Current users include Deafblind, Compassion in World Farming, Connect Housing, Aylesbury College & Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

If you'd like to find out a little bit more about the huge difference this could make to your recruitment process then our NFP Account Managers can be reached on numbers below, if you can't get hold of them on the phone just pop them and email with your contact details and they will get back to you as soon as they are available.

Trade your PDF/Word application form for an interactive online application form

Almost all NFP organisations use application forms within their recruitment process. If they are well designed and handled well they can provide great support to a busy recruiter. However, a quick search of the internet will show you plenty of organisations that ask online job seekers to complete the application offline and then email it to the organisation.

This causes the organisation several recruitment administration issues:

  • Completed application forms are often emailed to a group mailbox.
  • Completed application forms are not stored in a central repository.
  • Data recorded on the from is not available for reporting purposes, unless you manually count each form.

We have just launched a service to help you avoid these issues, introducing a new online application form with some added benefits:

  • All completed application forms are emailed to the relevant recruiter.
  • All completed application forms are stored in a central repository (and time/date stamped to confirm when submitted).
  • Data recorded on the form is available for you to review on your own recruitment dashboard (this includes diversity data).

No more stacks of forms on your desk waiting to be processed, no more emails filling up your inbox, just a smooth efficient way of collecting candidates details.

If you'd like to give yourself a bit more time in the day and remove some dull and unecessary admin, then get in touch with one of our specialist NFP Account Managers for more information, pricing starts at just £1500 or £1 per applicant.
